Joyce obtained her Associate of Science Degree in Medical Assisting in 2013. Her career quickly picked up after completing an internship program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach. Soon after, she moved on to specialize in Oncology and has been working in this field for over 10 years now.

Since a young girl, she had a passion for the beauty industry; growing up in the Dominican beauty salon culture, it was natural for her to grow a love for it. She's always known what she wanted to do and truly believes the career of helping people look and feel beautiful is in her genes. Her aunt who's been a beautician for 40+ years has been a long-time mentor for her. It wasn't until she became a young adult that she was drawn to the medical field, which has resulted in her integrating both her callings and

attending The Florida Academy of Medical Aesthetics obtaining licensure

as a professional Medical Aesthetician and Skincare Specialist.

Joyce has also acquired training and certifications in various medical and aesthetic procedures from renowned regional and global leaders in the industry. She has vast knowledge and multiple certifications and is looking forward to becoming a private trainer teaching estheticians and health-care professionals beauty and aesthetic techniques. She is currently working towards obtaining a degree as a Registered Oncology Nurse and works for one of the best internationally known hospital systems - Cleveland Clinic.

"The desire to be beautiful and attractive is ageless.
It will never go out of style." - Joyce Cruz-Alonso, RMA, LME
